A small opening bridge connects the island and the mainland. It opens up every o&#8217;clock to let the yachts and small boats pass from the port to open sea &#8211; cars need to wait in queue until the bridge closes down again.<\/em><\/p><p><strong>1. From Preveza follow the signs to Lefkada; take the small bridge connecting the mainland and Lefkada Island, which will bring you directly to the capital of Lefkas &#8211; Lefkada town.<\/p><p><strong>1.2. By car<\/strong><\/p><p>A 40min drive (31km) alongside the east coast will bring you to Ionian Blue Hotel at the south of the island.
