Dr. Isotta Cerri is currently the Head of Material Engineering at Toyota Motor Europe Research and Development. She leads the advanced research and development of materials for European vehicles in alignment with the corporate ambition of creating sustainable mobility solutions.
Prior in her career she led the advanced research division responsible for fuel cells, batteries, photovoltaics and robotics technologies.
She is the author of publications, inventor of patents and contributor of strategic technology roadmaps for the European Commission, the UK government, and the International Energy Agency.
Prior to joining Toyota she worked for the Altran Group as consultant in the energy and automotive field and at Politecnico di Torino as scientific researcher on catalytic processes.
Dr. Cerri received her M.A. and Ph.D. degree in chemical engineering from Politecnico of Torino.
